Yoga and meditation are two sides of the same coin. The effect of these practices is the same, even though they may look and feel differently. They are two different paths leading to the same destination. In essence, yoga is meditation in motion and meditation is yoga in stillness.
Yoga is an invitation to let go of that what no longer serves you. The practice is a way of creating space in your body, heart and mind, so that you can more readily see who you really are. The stretches and the movements through the different shapes clear out the cobwebs woven of old memories. They help to release tension stored in the body built up by accumulated life experiences.
Meditation is the practice of being. There is nothing to do other than simply observe what your experience is in the moment as it unfolds, without resisting it or wanting it to be different. It is from this stillness that you thrive.
Yoga and meditation are two different paths leading to the same destination. Which path you choose may depend on your preference, the time of day, the condition of your body, etc. One path is not better than the other and, ultimately, they merge. Yoga and meditation both lead to the full realization of who you truly are: Source Energy, a force field of consciousness, spacious awareness, Light, Love, God (whatever term for the indescribable resonates with you).

You may like to practice yoga with me, but you live in a different town, state or country. Perhaps you just like to roll onto your mat straight out of bed. Maybe you need a guided meditation before an important meeting, or some support when you are experiencing anxiety.
Wherever and whenever, you can practice with me. The only thing you need is an internet connection! May it be of benefit to you. I’d love to hear when and where you practiced.
My on-demand classes are offered for free, so everyone can benefit. Donations are always welcome (via PayPal).
